I Don't Want Solidarity if it Means Holding H

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 22, 2007, 9:20 AM
Gahhhhh...... so I had some writing in my notebook that I was gonna submit today, on a whim (I confess), and all of a sudden the notebook is nowhere to be found. Serves me right, I guess. Procrastination lesson learned.

In either event, it's been quite some time since I've bothered updating this thing (three months, I think it's been?). I've written a few pieces since then, but we'll see if I can find 'em.

In the meantime, I've started classes again (at the local community college), where I'll be attending until I can transfer to San Jose State University in the fall of 2009. Also been trying to shake myself of this nasty habit I have of staying up until 7:00 at which point I would fall asleep until 15:00 or thereabouts. I've been failing miserably in that regard, but it seems success might be on the horizon.

Look forward to a few new writings in the next day or two.

Sorry for this scatterbrain rant.

I'm actually from Redding, originally, and though I hate it, maintain some form of emotional connection with it. Nice to see people from Redding on dA, so thanks just the same. :)

Pretty apt comparison, I must say. I read the lyrics to that song, "Cash Machine", and I'm pretty inclined to agree. I guess my piece was just a bit more focused and the song you mentioned was a little more broad. Thanks. :)
